Sooner or later we’ll need the hide of an alligator
Every once in a while we gotta be like a crocodile
Don’t get upset or riled; it takes the faith of a child
To lay it at His feet and not let your fears run wild
Life don’t always follow your plan or script
Take Him by the hand and he will lift you up
Because denial is not just a big river in Egypt
Be vigilant and He will give you just enough
If you’re doin’ somethin’ great
You’re gonna come under attack
Who cares what they do or say
It’s like water off a duck’s back
The view is the same at the back of the pack
All they see or hear is someone else’s rear
They can’t see abundance; all they see is lack
All they ever hear is the voice of their fear
Don’t let them mass an attack
Try to hold on or hold you back
They can only see what they lack
It’s like water off a duck’s back
If you’re doin’ somethin’ great
You’re gonna come under attack
Who cares what they do or say
It’s like water off a duck’s back
